What is Geothermal Heating and Cooling?

HVAC Water Furnace and Heat Pump Installation PA

The marvelous technology of geothermal energy relies primarily on the Earth's natural thermal energy to heat and cool a house or multi-family dwelling. The only additional energy required is a small amount of electricity to concentrate what Mother Nature provides and circulate high-quality heating and cooling throughout the home.

Geothermal heating and cooling is very cost effective because it uses energy so efficiently. This makes it very environmentally friendly, too – and that's why it's endorsed by federal agencies like the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy.
